 Honda announced that, as of the end of 2011, for 2012 its total count of hybrid-powered vehicles Honda was one of the first automakers to sell a hybrid vehicle with its first-generation Insight in 1999. It now offers seven different hybrid vehicles worldwide, including the second-generation Insight, CR-Z, and Civic Hybrid, which are all available in the U.S. Honda also offers the FCX Clarity hydrogen-fueled car in markets and will be releasing the Fit EV to the U.S. market later this year. Additionally, Honda will add the first hybrid Acura vehicle to its lineup this spring with the all-new ILX compact sedan. While this may be an impressive feat for the Japanese. |
