Exim Bank Promises Support for Mbeya Market

Exim Bank's Mbeya Branch has pledged humanitarian support to traders who lost their goods worth millions of shillings when fire razed Mwanjelwa market in Mbeya recently.

The bank has also promised to cooperate with the market committee to restore a normal trading situation around the area.
The bank's Mbeya Branch manager, Geofrey Temael recently visited the area, aiming to get a clear picture of the accident, its impact and figure out the way that the bank may come in.  "We have come to see the impact and share ideas with your committee on how we can support and make sure business activities return to normal in a short period," said Temael adding that the bank has established that some of the affected people are among its customers.
